A weak and unengaged masculinity is a risk to mother, baby and the birth professional.
Recent reports of sexual harassment and assault underscore the prevalence of weak masculinity in our society.
Modern culture has knocked down most of the signposts leading toward the strong masculine. But, when approaching fatherhood, a man is often in a vulnerable place, a place of humility, and perhaps teach-ability.
Birth professionals are in a unique position to help point the way toward a strong and health masculinity.
I want to help.
My name is Ben, and I want to help men activate positive masculine traits at the threshold of fatherhood.
I attended all 5 of my wife's births and we have been blessed with four beautiful children.. I even delivered the last two...unexpectedly. All of these births brought me challenges and growth.
I know the transformative power of childbirth, and I have committed to helping men leverage this time to develop a strong masculinity; to be the man their family needs...that our society needs.
Won't you join me?
